The 2010 mid term elections are fast approaching. Take a minute and think about how we got to where we are now.   Some people blame the Democrats.   I agree with them.   Some people blame the Republicans.   I agree with them too.   However, I blame the American people the most.   We are where we are now because we the people for too many years have elected and re-elected the same politicians simply because they were our elected officials.   We had become complacent, and failed to hold our elected officials accountable to do the jobs we elected them to do.   We did not hold their feet to the fire to get the work done to benefit our country, our states and our communities.   Sometimes people simply did not vote because they didn’t care.   Then, our elected officials legislated enormous debt, engaged in outrageous spending and have wreaked mayhem upon our country simply to benefit their own agenda.               We have career politicians who feel entitled to their positions.   They

It's 32 days till Election Day.  I decided that I needed a new flag to fly on November 3rd.  The decision was easy, or at least I am very optimistic that the Democrats will be dealt a resounding vote of NO Confidence. 66 years ago today, Allied forces led by the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA landed in Normandy, France to begin the liberation of Europe. Operation Overlord had begun. 73,000 Americans landed in France along with 80,000 plus allied troops. 2,499 Americans died on this day , 66 years ago. Our founding fathers were wise men. In the Preamble they delineated things government is SUPPOSED to do and things that are not mandatory. Yesterday, Republican Scott Brown defeated Democrat Martha Coakley in the Senatorial election to fill what has become known as Ted Kennedy's seat in Massachusetts. A Republican won in a state where they are outnumbered by Democrats 3 - 1! The people of America are tired of the socialist agenda of President Obama and his fellow miscreants in Congress, and they spoke loud and clear yesterday. The Democrats still don't get it though.
