Preamble

Constitution of the United States of America

We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

I have just become involved with an organization called the York 912 Patriots. This organization is based on Glenn Beck's 9.12 Project. The 9.12 Project is based upon 9 Principles and 12 Values. It is my belief that our Founding Fathers would have been proud to share this platform, and in fact, to a large extent did.

This is one of hundreds, nay thousands of grassroots organizations engaged actively in taking control of our government and putting this country back on the path that it once maintained. People across America are sick and tired of professional politicians in Washington, DC who share one common trait; arrogance. People across America are sick and tired of partisan bickering, name calling and self serving politicians who are only interested in what they can do for themselves to secure their legacy. People across American are fed up with catering to minority interests, illegal aliens in our country, big government out of control spending, and a Congress and administration Hell bent on destroying this great country.

People are now realizing what has been going on in Washington these past many years and are beginning to demand accountability and representation according to the Constitution. Poll after poll will tell you that the overwhelming majority of Americans think this country is on the wrong track. These Americans want once again government Of the people, By the people and For the people in our capital.

We can achieve that beginning in the 2010 election cycle. What Americans need to do is very simple; get off their asses and vote, beginning in May with the Primary Elections. In 2010 We the people can replace the entire House of Representatives and one third of the US Senate with elected officials who understand that they work for us, and that they will be held accountable for their actions. Congress will never impose term limits upon themselves, so it is up to us to do them that favor. Know your representatives, and if they do not hold the same values you do, vote them out. If they do not uphold their oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States, vote them out. If they are career politicians who have lost touch with their constituency, like some of mine, vote them out.

Together we can take back our country and make America once again that shining beacon of liberty that throughout the 20th century liberated people world wide and asked nothing in return, except for enough land to bury those Americans who gave their last full measure of devotion.

It is up to We the people to set things right. Please do your part to save our country.
