My political observations for today. T rump Derangement Syndrome , the next iteration, will kick off fully tomorrow at Noon EST. Here's what will happen— Liberals everywhere will melt down. There will be wailing & gnashing of teeth. The goons on the late-night TV "comedy" shows will ramp up their anti-Trump vitriol. Some of the media will continue their campaign of hate and division. Some others have learned a lesson. Maybe because their ratings are somewhere between the toilet and the sewage treatment plant. Now, this is for my Trump-hating liberal friends— Yes, I do have friends who are liberal Democrat, Trump haters, but we're adults, so we still manage to get along and treat each other with respect. As I write this, we are two days past the tragic murder of West York Borough Police Office Andrew Duarte on Saturday 22 February 2025. Officer Duarte was one of so many Police Officers from all over York County who responded to a call of an active shooter at UPMC Memorial Hospital in West Manchester Township. During the incident, Officer Duarte, 5 days past his 30th birthday, was shot & killed, and two other Police Officers were wounded. Three staff members of UPMC Memorial were shot and wounded. UPMC personnel were taken hostage in the ICU and some were zip-tied. The York County law enforcement community lost one of its own. It hurts. It hur...

When the Royal Navy Submarine Service was formed just over 100 years ago, submarines were quite unpopular. The First Sea Lord, Admiral Sir Arthur K. Wilson VC, was one of many vocal opponents of the submarine's introduction to the Royal Navy. He stat...
