Justice has been done people, now move along. Nothing to see here. The trial of George Zimmerman is over.  Zimmerman was charged by a special prosecutor in Florida, solely on political and racial grounds, after the District Attorney and local law enforcement decided that there was insufficient evidence to prosecute.  Zimmerman cooperated fully with law enforcement from day one.  Zimmerman has been found "Not Guilty" by a jury.  Now, let me add something here.  As a person who spent 32 years in law enforcement, there is a big difference between Not Guilty and Innocent .  The jury said not guilty. People from the President of the United States (" If I had a son, he'd look like Trayvon "), to well known race baiters, the liberal media, rabble rousers and just plain racists made this unfortunate incident a racial matter.  Of course, the liberal mainstream media hyped this like it was worse than the Holocaust.       ...

I am writing this to pose a question.  Perhaps one of my more learned friends can answer the question.   Please feel free to post an answer, either here or on Facebook, because I’m going to link this on my Facebook page. As of this date, 09 January 2013, the leftist administration with the backing of the boot licking mainstream media, Hollywood hypocrites and liberal elitists are clamoring to take away the guns of Americans. Before I go any further, let me say that the school shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School was a tragic act and a heinous crime committed by an individual with mental health issues, who murdered the legal owner of the guns used, his own mother, and then stole the firearms.  Nobody, but nobody should ever harm little kids.  However, evil and mentally unbalanced people have no qualms about who they hurt.  The only good thing this shooter did was blowing his own brains out. The ambush killings of fire fighters in Webster, NY were the cowardly act of a convicted felon who was not legally allowed to own firearms, but got them anyway.  This nut job also had mental health issues.  This asshole also spread his brains over an area of ground around him....

My Rant for 28 November It's t ime for The Republican Party to stand up and grow a set of balls. I posted a short note on Facebook earlier today (28 Nov 12) that I am seriously considering changing my political affiliation to Libertarian.   I could also end up an Independent.   Basically I am tired of the Republican Party that I grew up with that seems to have lost its spine.   Sometimes I think they also lost their brain, or at least their common sense.
